Welcome Daisy!!

Greetings everyone and TGIF!!!

I am so happy to announce DAISY has arrived!!! Before you all start with the "Congrats" and "well wishes"... NO, I did not have a baby!  LOL.   Daisy is a stamp that I have been searching the ends of the earth to find.  WAY BACK when I first got addicted to Copics there was a card at a LSS that had what I thought to be {THE} cutest image ever.  Elisabeth Bell is the artist and she has such adorable images. Long story short, I found Daisy online at Elphine House.  YEP, ALL the way in AUSTRALIA!  I couldn't wait to use her and here's what I came up with!

Of course I colored the image with my Copics.
Skin:  E15, E13, E11, E00
Hair:  E49, E47, E44, E43, E31
Jeans:  B99, B97, C5, C3
Shirt:  R29, R27, R24
I forgot to write the other colors down and for the first time ever, I actually put the markers away when I finished.  Imagine That!

Happy Crafting.

What's going on...

Wow... I almost forgot what this place (my blog) looked like.  It's been quite sometime since I was here and I must say, I've missed it.  Of course since my last entry my life has had many ups and downs.  I went from not working, to working to not working again.  As a close friend said last week, "Have Faith".

In the mean time, I'll just keep crafting away... Let's see some exciting points over the past few months, taken a few more Copic Classes and  most recent was WITH Suzanne Dean.  It was a rainy morning and I drove from Hurst to Waco.  I had a blast!  Learned some new tricks that will make coloring even more fun!  I even got a cool blinkie to add to my blog. (see right side bar)

Besides coloring, I've been crafting, too.  HERE are some pictures of things I've completed.  Of course I've done more than what you see there, but I'm {STILL} not a big photographer. (I forget to take completed pics! LOL)

As always, happy creating!

What is your favorite color?

I asked that question and his response was "I'd have to say purple and black". After hearing that I was on a mission.  LOL  Believe it or not, I remember designing this card in my mind instantly.  Everyone knows I have an obession with Copics markers. I have over 70 markers now!!   Check out my latest creation.

Isn't she a hottie???  This by far pushed my creativity out of my little comfort zone. Skin tones aren't as easy as they look. Several reprints and do-overs later this is the end result, a birthday card.  My hard work paid off, because the smile on HIS face and that mischievous chuckle was {priceless}!

Detail/Close up

Copics used: C5, C7, E27, E29, E33, E35, E47, 100, 101, N1, V09
Smooch (Cherry Chocolate, Gold Lame & Siren) and Goldenrod Stickles

As you can see the black layer is embossed. (Gotta love my Sizzix Big Kick!) And if you look close, image layer is popped up using pop up dots. Did you know they make black ones??? < LOL I'm telling you, I have WAY more stuff in my stash than I'll ever use. But it's always fun pulling out new things.   Pattern Paper is American Crafters Boo!, and the rhinestones are Queen & Co.

*Note to self... take better pics prior to delivering the card to the recipient!  Even though it was yesterday,  Happy Birthday JLO! {Gotta give the shout out no matter what!}

Ahhh... and now I'll exhale....
Happy Creating!

Ahhh.... My Do-Over!

Okay well here's part 2 of this post as promised.
As I mentioned, I'm working on several different things... Two card swaps and a Loralie image swap.  One of my SOC sistahs contacted the fantabulos Loralie of Loralie Designs and we're doing an image swap with a twist.  Each of us were assigned a stamp and we're stamping the images, THEN creating something with one of the images to send to Loralie Designs!  How exciting is that??

I've been busy stamping away... Those of you that know me, know I am NOT a traditional stamper so this is a true struggle for me.  Good thing I have plenty of NEENAH paper on hand, right???  What's Neenah Paper you ask??  It's only THE best paper for Copic markers!!!! (okay, let me say neither Copic nor Neenah is paying me to promote their brands!  But if they decide... it would be nice!)

After some major wheeling and dealing... I am proud to say, I have Classic Crest 80lb Smooth Solar White paper for sell.  Please see the PayPal button to the right!  They are packs of 25. I will ship it anywhere in the U.S. using USPS Flat Rate postage ($4.95).  This is truly a GREAT price.  Needless to say I'm very excited about this new little venture.  If you have questions, please email me

In closing... here are some pics for you to enjoy!

How about a "Do Over"?? (part 1)

Greetings Everyone!
Remember when you were little and you'd mess up?? First thing you'd ask for was a "do over".  As you've notice by the date of my last entry, I dropped off the Blog-O-Meter, again! Wanna know why??? Wish I could say because I've been busy crafting away but that wouldn't be all true. Honestly, IDK why... I just did.  That makes today: My official Do-Over!

My creative mojo left me after Valentine's Day.  (insert "sad face" here)  That was a busy time.  I was the hostess of two back to back swaps over at SOC.  Both of which were V-day themed... afterwards... I didn't want to see anything pink or with hearts!  LOL  Seriously... here are a few of the cards that I created.
