It's Challenge Time!!

Hey Everybody...
It's Challenge time over at the JDE site.  The Sketch Team is hosting this week and since I'm a part of that team, here's my card!

Yeah, I'm new to following a sketch and in my opinion, I've seriously got lots of room for improvement!  LOL  As always, we're making it easy on you and the challenge is ANYTHING GOES!!  It would be really nice to see what you come up with and of course using a Robert Jackson image is ALWAYS a plus.

Happy Crafting!

Happy Mother's Day!

Yeah.... I can FINALLY show the world the card I made for my mom.

I am so happy with the way this card turned out.  I love the way neutral colors look and for some reason I have been drawn to them recently.  This post will be short and sweet.

Happy Mother's Day!

We all make mistakes...

Hello All My Crafty Friends...

Ever make something and you're so excited about how it came out??  Well.... taa-daaaa....

I made this for my BFF.  I doubt she reads my blog, so I'm not worried about the surprise being spoiled.  And if she happens to see it... SURPRISE!  It should get there Saturday.  (LOL)

The title of this post is "We all make mistakes".  OMG... I've never had as much design drama as I did putting this card together.  SMH... I wanted to paper piece it so I thought... "ohhhh, I'll half stamp the image on the printed paper".  Yeah, I stamped the wrong part.  My coloring was just all off.. and to be honest parts of it looked HORRIBLE.  So I saved the jeans.

Okay, now we know I hate cutting things out... Yep, cut out the flowers from a paper pack and then it was TOOOOOO big...  After trimming and trimming, this is what I came up with.

At one point I was ready to just throw the card away and go buy her a cheesy card from the store and call it a day.   Can you believe I splattered ink on my image???  Thus I had to cut it out and "make it work".  YES, this card was a true LABOR OF LOVE!!!

It's amazing that a card with all that drama came out so cute!!!

I see colors...

Hi Everyone!

This week at Jackson's Digital Expression we're having a color Challenge.  I am the Co-Leader for the Color Team and here are the colors we used for our first color challenge.  Picking colors at random seemed easy but... USING the colors... that's a different story.
Y06, E47, R32

This is my card which can also be seen over at the Jackson's Digital Expression site along with all of the details for the this week's challenge.

Paper: My Mind's Eye  (Simply Delightful)
Cardstock: Neenah Solar White (110lb)

As of right now the inside is blank because I haven't decided what else I want to do with it! LOL  I might just hang it on the wall by my craft table.  One thing I'd like to point out the pearls were once a whitish color but... I decided the color them with Y06 and taaa-daaaaaaa!!!

I've entered this card in the challenge over at Tammy's Scrapin' Corner
I just love ANYTHING GOES!!!
