Ever make something and you're so excited about how it came out?? Well.... taa-daaaa....
I made this for my BFF. I doubt she reads my blog, so I'm not worried about the surprise being spoiled. And if she happens to see it... SURPRISE! It should get there Saturday. (LOL)
The title of this post is "We all make mistakes". OMG... I've never had as much design drama as I did putting this card together. SMH... I wanted to paper piece it so I thought... "ohhhh, I'll half stamp the image on the printed paper". Yeah, I stamped the wrong part. My coloring was just all off.. and to be honest parts of it looked HORRIBLE. So I saved the jeans.
Okay, now we know I hate cutting things out... Yep, cut out the flowers from a paper pack and then it was TOOOOOO big... After trimming and trimming, this is what I came up with.
At one point I was ready to just throw the card away and go buy her a cheesy card from the store and call it a day. Can you believe I splattered ink on my image??? Thus I had to cut it out and "make it work". YES, this card was a true LABOR OF LOVE!!!
It's amazing that a card with all that drama came out so cute!!!
